Our company which launched its activities as an ordinary partnership in 1954 and turned into a collective company in 1973, is one of the foremost and long-standing firms of Ankara.

Ever Since it was established, ŞARK FURNITURE has always pioneered the firsts by introducing contemporary furniture and decoration consept, and it has also managed to preserve its high rank position throughout the sector by reflecting its ever-increasing experience and capacity to all its products.

To this end, "ŞARK LAMINATED PARQUET" factory was established in 1997 on a 10.213 m2 land in the 1st Organized Industrial Zone of Ankara in order to manufacture wooden laminated parquet floor as well as to carry out turn key contractorship projects.

Our factory has the capacity to manufacture 200.000 m2 laminated parquet thanks to its high-tech machinery park imported from Germany, Italy and Austria.

ŞARK FURNITURE, which is performing greater tasks day by day with the experience of the years, provides services in a wide range of areas from turn key contractorship project to laminated parquet production thanks to its facilities and machinery park.

As well as producing numerous product for its project works, ŞARK FURNITURE is manufacturing wooden laminated parquet floor in its modern premises. ŞARK Furniture is exporting many of its products.

WOODEN LAMINATED PARQUET

Laminated parquet is formed by placing and pressing various three layers at right angles upon each other and it is a high technology, ready-polished product and is heat and humidity resistant.

The upper layer of the wooden laminated parquet is made of hard massive tree which is also polished in the factory with a special ultraviolet hardening technique.

The most important factors affecting the quality in laminated parquet is the type of the tree used, its fiber structure hardness and manufacturing techniques. The upper layer of the laminated parquet is around 2,5 mm-5 mm thick, which means it is possible to sistre-polish it at least 5 times and this parquet will stay on your floor without causing any problem.

Since laminated parquets are heat resistant, they can be used in both underfloor heated buildings and in places where there is a great humidity and heat change.

Laminated parquet is never mounted to the floor, only the parquets are mounted to each other from the seam places. In this system called "Floating Parquet", a smooth surface should be mainteined by laying a 0,2 mm thin mattress on the floor in order to isolate the humidity.

Since laminated parquet is made up of natural wood, a great deal of attention should be paid in terms of daily and general care. Artificial products such as detergents and synthetic cleaning towels should not be used.
